Welcome to Rockville is the largest rock festival in the United States, a four-day Danny Wimmer Presents event held each May in the infield of Daytona International Speedway in Florida. It pairs a deep hard-rock, metal and nu-metal lineup across multiple stages with on-site camping and themed campgrounds, and has grown into a destination weekend that pulls rockers, metalheads and Juggalos from across the country to the speedway grounds
What people love
Attendees praise the production and sound quality and the thoughtful, well-planned layout, and they credit organizers for taking the Florida heat seriously with cooling buses, misting, lowered water prices and re-entry. The scale, the lineup and a notably friendly crowd come up repeatedly, though some who bought upgraded tickets felt the viewing areas and pricing did not always match the promise
Last time around (2025)
The 2025 edition (May 15-18) drew a reported record of roughly 230,000 fans over four days and coincided with a 100-degree Florida heat wave, prompting organizers to cut water to $2 a bottle, run air-conditioned cooling buses and misting stations, and allow re-entry to cars to cool off. Musical high points included a hometown Shinedown headline set that brought out Lynyrd Skynyrd, and a Good Charlotte cameo with Wheatus on 'Teenage Dirtbag.' The heat response drew praise, while upgraded-ticket buyers were more mixed on value

Nearest Amtrak stop is DeLand, FL, ~30 miles from Daytona Beach, Amtrak runs its own Thruway connector bus onward to Daytona Beach curbside stops. Not a direct or fast option relative to flying into DAB, but real for attendees routing via rail

Not an airport connector, the one confirmed OFFICIAL festival shuttle runs a continuous loop between the Hard Rock Hotel and Daytona Grande hotels and the festival grounds, first departure 11:00am daily, last departure to the festival 8:00pm. DAB sits only ~3 miles from the Speedway itself, so this is realistically the fastest and most common mode for fly-in attendees without a shuttle package. Official festival rideshare drop-off/pickup is in Lot 1 off International Speedway Blvd via the Turn 1 entrance (used for Uber, Lyft, taxis, AND hotel shuttles alike)

On site parking available. Cost 4-Day General Parking (Lot 6, Turn 2 entrance): $181. 4-Day Premium Parking (inside-track "Backstretch", closest lots, Turn 2 entrance): $247. Day-of-show parking (cash or card) available in Lot 1 (Turn 1 entrance) and Lot 4 (Turn 4 tunnel/camping entrance). Prepay via Official welcometorockville.com passes/parking checkout. Advance sales end 2 weeks before the event so the required vehicle hangtag can ship in time, day-of purchase in Lots 1/4 is the fallback. ADA parking is available in General and Premium lots with valid credentials, plus day-of ADA parking in Lot 1 and an ADA parking shuttle serving Lot 4, Lot 1, and Lot 6. Rideshare/taxi/hotel-shuttle drop-off is a dedicated zone in Lot 1 (Turn 1 entrance). Motorcycle parking requires advance purchase; bicycle parking (self-service, bring your own lock) is in Lot 1. No overnight parking is permitted outside the campgrounds
