Bio

David Byrne is a Scottish-born American musician and the founding frontman and principal songwriter of the new wave band Talking Heads, which was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002. As a solo artist and collaborator he has explored rock, art pop, and worldbeat, and he won an Academy Award for co-scoring the 1987 film The Last Emperor.
