The nearest active rail station is Palm Springs (PSN), an unstaffed platform served only by the thrice-weekly Sunset Limited/Texas Eagle and located about 8 miles north of downtown Palm Springs, roughly 30 miles from the venue, so a car/rideshare leg is unavoidable. Indio's own rail station closed in October 1998, and the 2019-funded temporary Amtrak festival platform for Indio was canceled in 2020; Amtrak otherwise serves Indio only via a Thruway motorcoach stop (82120 Highway 111). A niche option for rail-first travelers, not a practical airport connector

Intercity coach to the Indio Bus Station at 83100 Indio Blvd, Indio, CA 92201 ('Bus will board in front of the Greyhound building on the northeast side of the parking lot nearest to the train tracks'), about 3 miles from Empire Polo Club per the festival FAQ's nearest-stop note; additional regional stops at Palm Springs North (6600 N Indian Canyon Dr) and Desert Hot Springs. Combine with a taxi/rideshare for the final leg to the venue

SunLine has two stops 'a short walk from the terminal' at PSP (El Cielo at Kirk Douglas Way, and Tahquitz Canyon Way at Civic Drive, served by Route 4) per the airport's official site, and its Indio routes stop within roughly a mile of Empire Polo Club (Ave 48/Jackson St, Hwy 111/Monroe St). However there is NO one-seat airport-to-venue ride, PSP to Indio requires transfers across the local network, and the festival's own FAQ lists the nearest bus stop as downtown Indio, approximately 3 miles from the venue. Realistic for attendees already staying in the Coachella Valley, not as a door-to-door PSP option

Official festival shuttle network with 12 named 2027 stops (hotel clusters across Palm Desert, Indian Wells, Indio, La Quinta, Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs Convention Center) plus Park & Ride locations, running show days both weekends. IMPORTANT: no stop serves Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) itself, the closest stop to PSP is the Palm Springs Convention Center, a taxi/rideshare hop from the terminal. Any Line shuttles end outbound service one hour after the music stops. A separate official LAX Shuttle runs from Los Angeles International Airport both weekends to 4 locations including the Coachella Campgrounds, JW Marriott Desert Springs, La Quinta Resort & Club and Renaissance Palm Springs ('pick up at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and return service right back')

Uber and Lyft both operate at PSP, 'Follow signage to the designated area for rideshare pickups at the south end of the terminal in the commercial lane' per the airport's own site, which also lists three licensed taxi operators and a possible $25 flat-fare option for eligible trips. At the festival, rideshare drop-off/pick-up is the dedicated lot at Ave. 49 and Monroe St. (Lot 1D), Friday-Sunday 11am-3am, with shade and phone charging while you wait; taxis must use the Friends & Family zone on show days; Thursday camping arrivals use Lot 2A (9am-2am)
