Bio

Eddie Vedder, born Edward Louis Severson III in 1964 in Evanston, Illinois, is the lead vocalist and lyricist of the American rock band Pearl Jam. A central figure in the early-1990s grunge movement, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Pearl Jam in 2017.
