Excision is the stage name of Jeff Abel, a Canadian producer and DJ from Kelowna, British Columbia, and one of North America's most prominent dubstep and bass-music artists. Active since the mid-2000s, he founded the labels Rottun Recordings and Subsidia and released his debut album X Rated in 2011.
