The Hot 8 Brass Band is a New Orleans brass band formed in 1995, blending traditional brass sounds with hip-hop, jazz, and funk. Grammy-nominated, they perform in the city's second-line parade tradition and were featured in Spike Lee's documentaries about Hurricane Katrina.
