Bio

John Boutté is an American vocalist born in 1958 in the Seventh Ward of New Orleans, raised in a Creole Catholic family steeped in music and church. Known for a style spanning jazz, R&B, gospel, and blues, he is best recognized for 'Treme Song,' the theme to the HBO series 'Treme.'
