JJ Grey & Mofro are an American band from Jacksonville, Florida, led by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist JJ Grey. Originally performing simply as Mofro, they play a Southern roots sound blending blues, funk, soul, and swampy rock, and record for Alligator Records.
