Bio

The Jon Stickley Trio is a progressive instrumental band from Asheville, North Carolina, led by flatpick guitarist Jon Stickley with Lyndsay Pruett on violin and Hunter Deacon on drums. Rooted in bluegrass, their sound also draws on Gypsy jazz, rock and folk-punk. The band shifted to an all-instrumental format after producer Dave King encouraged them to drop vocals, a direction heard on releases such as Lost at Last (2015)
