Julieta Venegas is a Mexican singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born November 24, 1970, in Long Beach, California, and raised in Tijuana. Working in Spanish-language pop and rock, she is known for accordion- and keyboard-driven arrangements. Her breakthrough came with the 2003 album Si, and Limon y Sal (2006) became her most commercially successful record; she has won multiple Latin Grammy Awards.
