Bio
Melody Trucks & The Fitzkee Brothers Band is a Southern rock, funk and jam collaboration led by percussionist and vocalist Melody Trucks, daughter of the late Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks, alongside the Fitzkee Brothers, nicknamed the "Thump Brothers" for their tight, funky rhythm section. Together they fuse blues-soaked guitar, groove-heavy rhythms and fearless improvisation drawn from Southern rock, funk and jam-band traditions. They have shared stages with Duane Betts, Robert Randolph and Jorma Kaukonen, and jammed with Post Malone, who dubbed them "the mini Allman Brothers."
