Momma is an American indie rock band formed in 2015 by songwriters Etta Friedman and Allegra Weingarten, who met as teenagers in the Los Angeles area and later based the group in Brooklyn. Drawing on 1990s alternative influences such as Pavement and Smashing Pumpkins, their 2022 album 'Household Name' was a breakthrough, followed by 'Welcome to My Blue Sky' in 2025.
