Bio

Pixies are an American alternative rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1986. Fronted by Black Francis with guitarist Joey Santiago, bassist Kim Deal and drummer David Lovering, they are known for their loud-quiet dynamics and albums such as Surfer Rosa (1988) and Doolittle (1989), which influenced 1990s alternative rock.
