Bio

Saraswathi Ranganathan is a Chicago-based Carnatic veena player and vocalist who grew up in Bangalore, India, and began learning the instrument at age six. She founded the cross-cultural Surabhi Ensemble and became the first veena artist to win a Chicago Music Award.
