The Appleseed Cast are an American emo and indie rock band based in Lawrence, Kansas, formed in the late 1990s and led by singer-guitarist Christopher Crisci. Beginning with a post-hardcore-rooted sound, the band moved toward more experimental, atmospheric territory on releases such as 2001's Low Level Owl.
