The Casket Lottery is an American emo and post-hardcore band from Kansas City, Missouri, formed in 1997 by Nathan Ellis and Stacy Hilt. The band helped bridge emo and post-hardcore, releasing albums such as Choose Bronze and, after a hiatus, 2012's Real Fear.
