Bio
The Plate Scrapers are a progressive bluegrass string band that formed in 2014 in western Maryland. The group performs original material alongside covers, drawing on influences ranging from jazz and funk to hard rock. Their 2020 studio album Destination Horizon debuted at number 9 on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums chart, and in 2019 they won the Podunk Bluegrass Telefunken band contest.
