Train is an American rock band that formed in San Francisco in 1994, fronted by vocalist Pat Monahan. The group broke through with the platinum debut single Meet Virginia and reached wide fame with the Grammy-winning 2001 hit Drops of Jupiter, remaining a fixture of pop-rock radio with later singles such as Hey, Soul Sister.
