Bio
Yonder Mountain String Band is an American progressive bluegrass ('jamgrass') group formed in Nederland, Colorado in December 1998. Founded by guitarist Adam Aijala, banjoist Dave Johnston, bassist Ben Kaufmann and mandolinist Jeff Austin, the band melded traditional bluegrass with improvisational jam elements.
