Run by the Appalachian Highland Celts, a nonprofit preserving the region's Scots-Irish heritage, the festival brings together Highland Games athletics, bagpipe music from the Knoxville Pipes and Drums, Highland and Celtic dancing, clan tents, historical demonstrations, vendors, Celtic food and family activities
