Amtrak's Southwest Chief (Los Angeles-Chicago) stops daily in each direction at San Bernardino Santa Fe Depot (station code SNB, 1170 W 3rd St), roughly 2.5 miles from NOS Events Center, useful for attendees arriving by long-distance rail rather than from ONT. The Depot is also a Metrolink station with Omnitrans connections onward to the venue

Intercity coaches serve San Bernardino directly: Greyhound stops at San Bernardino Santa Fe Depot (1170 W 3rd St, since Feb 2023) and at the Downtown Transit Center; FlixBus stops at the San Bernardino Downtown Transit Center (Rialto Ave side) and the Depot, with connections from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Anaheim, San Diego, Riverside, Victorville and Barstow. Both stops are about 2-2.5 miles from NOS Events Center, finish with Omnitrans sbX/Route 2 or a short rideshare hop

Ride the Metrolink San Bernardino Line east to San Bernardino-Downtown (Transit Center), then Omnitrans sbX Green Line BRT or Route 2 south along the E Street corridor, Omnitrans runs direct service to the NOS/National Orange Show fairgrounds, a short walk from the sbX Inland Center-area stop. Caution: the festival runs 6PM-2AM and last Metrolink trains depart well before close, so transit works for arrival but not for the ride back after the show

Insomniac publishes a full accessibility guide for Wasteland. The event is held on asphalt, with accessible routes connecting parking, entrances, stages, accessible viewing areas and vendors. A limited number of accessible parking spots are onsite on a first come first served basis, with no parking pass needed but a valid state-issued placard, permit or plate required and the credential holder present in the vehicle.

There is an accessible entrance lane, located on the left side of the venue after the bars. A free accessibility wristband is issued onsite at the Accessibility Services Hub, to the left once you enter; one companion wristband may be requested, with exceptions for families with young children.
Accessible viewing areas are at designated stages, seating first come first served, and companions may be asked to stand at the back if capacity is reached. There is no transport between stages and no wheelchair or scooter rental.
Service animals are permitted and must be verified by the ADA Coordinator or Manager
ASL interpretation is available on request under Effective Communication Requests, along with large format print or braille literature, guided tours for guests with visual disabilities and assistive listening devices. Requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the event via the Effective Communication Request Form; the stated deadline for this event is 8/12/2026
