Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge is Insomniac's Pacific Northwest edition of the Alice-in-Wonderland-themed electronic dance music festival, staged at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. Set against dramatic canyon walls above the Columbia River, it pairs a weekend of on-site camping with two days of music across multiple elaborately produced stages, art installations and rides

By train
The Empire Builder is the only rail line serving this corner of central WA. Its Ephrata, WA, Transportation Center (EPH) stop is the closest station to the venue (~20 mi east; Ephrata is in the same Grant County as George), and its Wenatchee (WEN) stop is ~40 mi northwest. The line does NOT stop at the venue or offer any onward transit to the Gorge, from either station you need a rental car, taxi, or rideshare to close the final gap. Note the line's western terminus is Seattle King Street Station, which is also the Insomniac city-shuttle pickup, so Seattle-origin riders would normally take the shuttle rather than the train

Insomniac runs two official round-trip shuttle products for this festival. The CITY SHUTTLE meets at King Street Station in downtown Seattle (reachable from Seattle-Tacoma Intl (SEA) via Sound Transit Link light rail to the International District/Chinatown stop adjacent to King Street Station) and runs to/from the Gorge. The HOTEL SHUTTLES depart from four Moses Lake hotels, Holiday Inn Express, The Inn, Wingate, and Ramada (Moses Lake is ~30 mi from the venue and is the town nearest Grant County Intl (MWH), so this is the practical fly-in-adjacent shuttle for anyone landing in central WA and overnighting in Moses Lake). This is the only official festival-run shuttle; there is NO shuttle that departs directly from any airport terminal

Rideshare and taxi coverage is thin across rural central WA. Uber/Lyft operate reliably at Seattle-Tacoma (SEA) and in the Wenatchee (EAT) and Tri-Cities (PSC) areas, but driver availability drops sharply out on the Columbia rim around George/Quincy, and no festival-designated rideshare pickup zone is documented at the venue. Because day parking at the venue is FREE (Gate B off Silica Road) a drop-off is physically possible, but there is no reliable return-trip supply, and any vehicle left in the lot overnight is towed, so rideshare is workable only for short airport-to-hotel hops (e.g. EAT to a Wenatchee hotel), not as a dependable door-to-campground option for the 43-155 mi from the recommended airports

No overnight parking in the day lots, the venue states plainly that vehicles must vacate at the close of each festival day and any vehicle left overnight will be towed. Sleeping/camping in your vehicle in the parking lot, tailgating, and drinking/loitering in the lot are all expressly prohibited. Anyone wanting to keep a vehicle onsite overnight must buy a camping pass and park within the campground, not the day lot

The Gorge is a remote destination venue on the Columbia River rim with no public transit to the gate and only thin rural rideshare coverage; the nearest airport (Pangborn/EAT) is still ~43 mi out and the main commercial gateway (SEA) is ~155 mi. For any fly-in attendee not using the official Insomniac city/hotel shuttle, a rental car is the primary way to reach the campground and to get around central WA (groceries, ice, nearby Moses Lake/Quincy) during a multi-night camping stay, and the car+tent camping tiers are built around bringing a vehicle in the first place
