The Boise Scottish Heritage Festival and Highland Games brings the soul of Scotland to Expo Idaho in the Boise area each September, run by the Scottish Society of Southwest Idaho. The weekend pairs traditional Highland Games such as the caber toss, hammer throw, stone put and sheaf toss with the Great Highland Bagpipes, Highland dancing, genealogy and an opening Ceilidh open to all
