Billed as the largest Celtic event on the West Coast, the Calaveras Celtic Faire fills the Calaveras County Fairgrounds in Angels Camp each March with a celebration of all eight Celtic nations. The three-day faire pairs Highland Games heavy athletics, pipe bands and clan booths with the Imperial Knights Tournament of Champions jousting, SCA armored combat, a whiskey tasting room, living history and Celtic bands such as Wicked Tinkers and Golden Bough
