The experience

What's special

The Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival is one of the region's largest Irish heritage events, held each July at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea. Across three days it fills nine stages with Irish and Celtic music, Irish step dancing, pipe bands, a Cultural Hall of hands-on workshops, Gaelic sports, whiskey tastings and Irish food, with $20 admission, free parking and free entry for children under 10

What people love

Regulars praise the breadth of Irish music, the step-dancing schools, the wolfhounds and the pipe bands, and value the low admission price. Some longtime attendees find it hot, crowded and repetitive from year to year, and a few wish for more traditional Irish food among the festival fare

Last time around

The most recent festival ran July 17-19, 2026 at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, with headliners including The High Kings and a full weekend of Irish bands, dance schools, pipe bands, Cultural Hall workshops and a Sunday Mass. The 2026 edition ran cashless
