By car
Most people drive to Country Summer Music Festival. The nearest major airport is STS, and from there it is a straightforward drive to the venue. Check current road and traffic conditions before you set off, and see parking below.
By train
STS is one of the few small regional airports with a genuine rail link: SMART Connect, an on-demand microtransit shuttle booked via the Ride Pingo app, runs 7 days a week 8am-6pm between the airport terminal and the SMART Sonoma County Airport rail station. From there SMART trains run south to Santa Rosa Downtown station (Railroad Square) in about 10-12 minutes. The fairgrounds venue is then ~1.4 miles from the downtown station, a 25-30 min walk, a short rideshare, or a local CityBus hop. Note the SMART Connect shuttle's 6pm cutoff if landing on an evening flight

Relevant to the many attendees who fly into San Francisco (SFO) or Oakland (OAK) instead of little STS: FlixBus (which also operates Greyhound) runs San Francisco (409 Townsend St) to Santa Rosa, arriving at the downtown Santa Rosa stop at 555 1st St, about 0.9 miles / 15-20 min walk from the fairgrounds, or a very short rideshare. Book / info →Sonoma County Transit buses stop near the airport at Airport Blvd & Regional Parkway and connect the airport corridor to central Santa Rosa. Within town, Santa Rosa CityBus operates from the Downtown Transit Mall (2nd St, near the SMART downtown station); Route 8 'Bennett Valley' serves the Bennett Valley Rd corridor where the fairgrounds sit. Practical for the last-mile leg after the SMART train more than as a one-seat airport ride, there is no direct single bus from the STS terminal to the fairgrounds gate

Uber has operated at STS since May 2019; Lyft and taxis also serve the airport. Pickup and drop-off is the curbside loading zone directly in front of the terminal, no separate rideshare lot at this small airport. At the festival end, use the official rideshare zone: the median lot across from Gate 2 under the freeway (see parking block). Straightforward ~8-mile run down US-101 to the fairgrounds

$165 per campsite for up to four nights (Thursday-Monday), includes one vehicle and up to 4 people on a 20'x20' dry site (no electricity, water, or sewer). Additional vehicles $45 each. Check-in Thu 5-8pm or Fri 8am-8pm; all vehicles must clear the venue by 10am Monday. Every camper must also hold a 3-Day festival ticket
Matches the live file's camping.types ['rv-hookups']: a separate, application-based RV campground managed by the Sonoma County Event Center offers powered 30-amp and 50-amp spots, 'prices vary by site type', booked by submitting the RV application (confirmation within 72 hours). Powered spots are scarce and sell out well before the festival. The fairgrounds' year-round RV park (1500 Aston Ave; 159 sites, full hookups, $33-$70/night) is the walk-to-the-gate fallback once festival RV spots are gone
