How do I get to Domefest?
By car
Most people drive to Domefest. The nearest major airport is CRW, and from there it is a straightforward drive to the venue. Check current road and traffic conditions before you set off, and see parking below.
By train
The Cardinal (New York-Washington-Cincinnati-Chicago) stops at Thurmond, WV a flag stop in the New River Gorge under 10 road miles (roughly 20-25 minutes) from ACE Adventure Resort, closer to the venue than CRW itself and at Prince, WV (~20 road miles). It also stops at Charleston, WV, but does not serve the CRW airport terminal. Service is three days per week (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday per the current Amtrak timetable), which happens to line up with a Wednesday/pre-fest arrival for the Thursday-Saturday festival. Thurmond has no staffed station, taxi rank, or rideshare presence arrange your onward pickup before boarding

Greyhound and FlixBus serve Beckley, WV stop at the Beckley Intermodal Parking Garage roughly 18-20 road miles (~30 minutes) south of ACE Adventure Resort; routes connect through Charleston among other cities. No intercity coach reaches Oak Hill or the resort itself, so the final leg is a taxi or pre-arranged ride. Price a specific date on the linked booking page

The airport's official ground-transportation page lists Uber, Lyft, and Link as available 24/7 via their apps, plus two dispatch operators: C&H Taxi (1-304-344-4902) and Chandlers Limousine Service (1-304-345-5434). Pickup is at the designated rideshare/taxi area outside the terminal. Caution for the return leg: Oak Hill/Minden is rural app-based driver coverage for a pickup FROM the resort is unconfirmed, so keep the C&H Taxi dispatch number handy rather than counting on an app match on the mountain

On site parking available. Cost Included with the weekend pass no separate parking purchase or prepay platform. Single-day ticketholders park at the base of the mountain and ride the free shuttle up. Weekend/GA passholders park directly at their campsite (each first-come-first-served site is 10' x 30' with room for two tents and one vehicle). A hang-tag parking pass is issued at ticket scan-in. Single-day attendees park at the mountain's base and use the shuttle; ACE runs a free property-wide shuttle bus 24 hours a day from noon Wednesday through 9 AM Sunday. Reserved accessible parking sits near the main stage entrance on Lane E for vehicles displaying the festival's accessibility laminate

Camping fest on a rural mountaintop roughly 55 road miles from CRW with no public transit reaching the venue and unconfirmed rideshare coverage for the return leg car hire is the primary option for fly-in attendees, and parking at your campsite is already included with the weekend pass. Avis, Enterprise, Budget, and National all operate on-airport at CRW per the airport's official transportation page
