What's special
The Enchanted Fairy Festival is a family festival at Springettsbury Township Park in York, Pennsylvania, held each September and created in 2019. For one day the park becomes four enchanted lands - Fairy Land, Wonderland, Pirate Cove and a Bounce Zone - built around two performance stages and a cast of fairies, mermaids, belly dancers, stilt walkers, giants and gargoyles, alongside immersive art installations, live animals, crafts, a fairy search-and-find, food trucks, and a marketplace of handmade crafters. Admission is $10 (children under 2 free), dressing up is encouraged but not required, and the day opens and closes with ceremonies, ending in a wish-sending parade.

Do I need a costume?
Costumes are welcomed but optional, so plainly dressed guests don't feel out of place; on-site vendors sell fairy hair, wings, crowns and other adornments for those who want to transform on the day
