Part of a seriesTriple Crown Tattoo Expos

One stop on a circuit of 4 conventions run to the same format by Triple Crown Tattoo Expos.

Age, licensing and hygiene

Age and ID

The event overview states 'Must be 18+ years of age to be tattooed, NO EXCEPTIONS'. That is the only published age rule; no ID procedure, parental-consent exception or spectator-age policy is stated. Indiana law permits tattooing a minor only with a parent or guardian present and written consent, so the festival's 18-plus rule is stricter than the state floor

Rules on the floor

No bag policy, security screening or first-aid arrangement is published by the organizer for this event

The organiser publishes nothing on Any organizer statement on sterilisation, single-use needles or ink, or workstation barriers, Any organizer consent form or aftercare sheet, Any spectator-age or ID procedure and Any first aid, medical or security arrangement. Ask the artist you are booking with, and expect a licensed booth to answer without hesitating.

The experience

What's special

The Evansville Tattoo Festival is a new three-day stop on the Triple Crown Tattoo Expos circuit, held indoors at Old National Events Plaza in downtown Evansville from November 6 to 8, 2026. Billed as the first annual, its overview promises roughly 100 tattoo artists working live all weekend, walk-ups welcome so visitors can get tattooed the same day, and artists competing for awards. Admission is sold in three tiers, a day pass at $25, two days at $40 or the full weekend at $60, available online with a small service fee or at the door by cash or card. Anyone getting tattooed must be 18 or older, with no exceptions

Getting tattooed here

Before you go

Admission gets you through the door, not into a chair. Tattoo work is arranged with the artist, not with the show.

Booking ahead

Visitors who want a specific artist should contact that artist directly ahead of the event; the organizer publishes no central booking system

Walk-ups on the day

Walk-ups are the model: the overview states 'Artists will be taking walk ups so you can come in and get tattooed the same day'. Availability on the day is not guaranteed

Who is tattooing

No artist roster has been published for this edition, so there is no way to pick an artist in advance from the official pages.

No named artist roster is published for this first edition. The organizer's own Evansville event page carries only the title, dates, venue and three ticket tiers. The World Tattoo Events directory shows generic 'WTE artist' profile thumbnails (Hoang Minh Duc, Aldrin Ace Jimenez, and others) that are site-wide directory furniture, not a confirmed Evansville lineup, and they must not be read as the roster

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability access

No accessibility statement is published for the festival, but the setting is strong: the DoubleTree connects to the plaza by an indoor climate-controlled skywalk, avoiding any outdoor crossing, and both are modern accessible facilities.

Ages

Two questions, and they are answered differently here than at the organizer's Somerset show. GETTING TATTOOED: the event overview states 'Must be 18+ years of age to be tattooed, NO EXCEPTIONS'. ADMISSION: unlike the Somerset event, the Evansville ticket page carries no 'Entry For 1 Adult ONLY 18+' subtitle, so no spectator-age restriction is published and whether under-18s may attend as spectators is not stated.

Read the full notes

No child or youth ticket price exists among the three tiers. Indiana law otherwise permits a minor to be tattooed only with a parent or guardian present giving written consent, but the festival's published rule is stricter at 18-plus with no exceptions

Confirm your specific needs with the organiser's access team before you travel.
