Forty Mile Tattoo Convention is now in its third annual edition, which the organiser's own site calls the 'CMYK Edition,' featuring recap imagery from the 2025 show. It is held at the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel, 3317 Forty Mile Rd, Wheatland, CA 95692, over three days in August. The organiser states that more than 180 artists from across the country take part, tattooing live and showing their work throughout the weekend. Tickets are described on the organiser's site as 'front door tickets' and are sold through the organiser's own ticketing page as well as at the door. The venue is itself a casino and hotel property, which doubles as on-site lodging for attendees who want to stay where the convention is held; the organiser does not name a separate hotel room-block or additional accommodation partner.
