What's special
The Franklin Civil War Reenactment is an annual Civil War living-history event staged in LaFayette, Georgia by the Atlanta Campaign, Inc. as part of a national reenactment series. Over an early-October weekend, Federal and Confederate commands and civilian reenactors build a period encampment, and the Battle of Franklin is reenacted on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2pm, alongside artillery and infantry demonstrations and programming for school groups.

Costume rules
Registered reenactors (Federal and Confederate commands and civilians) are expected to wear period-correct 1860s attire and carry period arms; spectators are not required to dress in period
