What's special
The Franklin Civil War Reenactment is an annual Civil War living-history event staged in LaFayette, Georgia by the Atlanta Campaign, Inc. as part of a national reenactment series. Over an early-October weekend, Federal and Confederate commands and civilian reenactors build a period encampment, and the Battle of Franklin is reenacted on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2pm, alongside artillery and infantry demonstrations and programming for school groups
