Gallabrae, the Greenville Scottish Games, is a Memorial Day weekend celebration of Scottish and Celtic heritage held at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, a region with one of the highest concentrations of Scots-Irish descent in the country. Begun in 2006, the Games bring heavy athletics with kilted competitors, piping and drumming competitions, massed pipers at the opening ceremony, clan tents and tartan, a British car show and a downtown Great Scot!
