The experience

What's special

The Houston Highland Games are the Scottish games and festival of the Houston Highland Games Association, a Houston-area nonprofit that has promoted Scottish and Celtic heritage for more than thirty-eight years, traditionally held at the Humble Civic Center Arena with heavy athletics, bagpipe and Highland dance competitions, Scottish clans and Celtic music. The association canceled its games scheduled for October 18, 2025 and has not announced a 2026 games date, though it continues to host Burns suppers, a Kirkin' of the Tartan, pipe-band fundraisers and community meet-and-greets

Last time around (2024)

The most recent games ran in 2024, a one-day event at the Humble Civic Center Arena with Scottish athletic, bagpipe and Highland dance competitions, clans, vendors and Celtic music, before the association canceled the 2025 games
