Lake Geneva Winterfest is home to America's Snow Sculpting Invitational, where 15 snow sculpting teams from around the United States and abroad compete on the shore of Geneva Lake. Teams start carving on Wednesday at Riviera Plaza and Flat Iron Park and finish on Saturday, and the sculptures stay on display through Sunday, or until they melt. Around the competition there is a downtown ice sculpture walk, bonfires on the beach and live entertainment. The 32nd Winterfest runs February 3 to 7, 2027.

Winterfest is free to attend and view. Come midweek to watch the teams carving, from Wednesday, February 3, or at the weekend to see the finished sculptures, which stay up through Sunday, February 7. The sculptures stand in two lakefront plazas downtown, with the Downtown Ice Sculpture Walk and Bonfires on the Beach running during the festival.
