What happened to Made in America?
Made in America has not been held since 2022. It was cancelled in 2023 after tickets went on sale, cancelled again in 2024, and did not return in 2025 after organizers did not submit a permit application to the city. No 2026 or 2027 edition has been announced.

What's special
Made in America is the Jay-Z-curated Labor Day-weekend festival staged in the heart of Philadelphia on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Running from 2012 to 2022, it paired superstar hip-hop and pop headliners with a genre-spanning bill reaching into rock and electronic, and made its name by dropping a major, city-center music festival into a public parkway ringed by museums rather than a distant field
What people love
Early attendees singled out the breadth of the lineup -- a genre-hopping mix of hip-hop, pop, rock and dance acts on one bill -- and the novelty of a big-name festival right in central Philadelphia, with DJ sets a particular highlight. Even through rain, fans described a fun, high-energy atmosphere and said they would return. (Community sentiment is thin and skews to the festival's earlier years.)
Last time around (2022)
The last edition Made in America actually held ran September 3-4, 2022, headlined by Bad Bunny and Tyler, the Creator on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The 2023 festival was canceled 'due to severe circumstances outside of production control,' the 2024 edition was canceled as well, and the event has since been on hiatus with no staged return
