Memphis Yoga Festival returns to Rhodes College, Memphis, TN, Sep 13, 2026. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, attendee feedback and travel details.

What it stands for

The festival describes itself as an invitation to salute the city and its yoga and arts community through yoga practice and celebration, bringing together teachers and classes from Memphis area studios so attendees can experience a wide range of yoga styles, and letting studios, gyms and wellness businesses across the Mid-South engage with the community

The experience

What's special

A one day, one ticket festival that samples the breadth of yoga taught across Memphis. More than fifteen classes run through a Sunday afternoon on the Rhodes College campus in Midtown, taught by teachers from studios around the city, with vendors, live music and food trucks alongside. The published class list is unusually wide for a single day, running from Ashtanga and Power Flow to Kemetic Yoga, Buti Yoga, acro and partner yoga, Yoga Nidra with a sound bath, and seated lectures on nutrition, Ayurveda and astrology

The practice

Who it's for

all levels. The published class descriptions repeatedly say all levels welcome. The programme spans high intensity formats (Power Flow, HIIT x Flow, Buti Yoga, Handstand Flow) and slow, floor based formats (Yin, Yin and Meditation, Yoga Nidra with sound bath), plus seated lectures on nutrition, Ayurveda and astrology

Power Flow
Ashtanga

A set sequence practiced with breath, gaze and posture working together. Disciplined and physical.

Kundalini

Breathwork, chanting and repeated movements aimed at energy and focus more than a workout.

FLOW
Handstand Flow
BodyART
Yin

Long, passive floor holds that reach deep tissue. Slow, quiet and meditative.

HIIT x Flow
BUTTI Yoga
Mat Pilates
Kemetic Yoga
Partner/ Acro Yoga

Programme

Class descriptions from the festival's schedule page. That page carries no dated 2026 grid, its content block dates from 2022 and the page was last updated in May 2025, so the class list should be read as the festival's recent standing programme rather than a confirmed 2026 line-up

Accessibility & comfort

What the organiser or venue publishes about getting around, and what they do not.

Disability accessThe festival publishes no accessibility statement. Every page in the memphisyogafestival.com sitemap was checked and none mention accessibility, ADA, wheelchair use, accessible parking, companion or carer tickets, chair yoga, adaptive practice, quiet spaces or interpretation. There is no /faq, /info or /accessibility page; all return the site's 404. The venue, Rhodes College, does publish campus accessibility information through its Student Accessibility Services site, and that is a college statement rather than the festival's. Rhodes points visitors to a Campus Accessibility Map, saying in its own words that the resource shows accessible pathways, ramps, building entrances, restroom locations, and parking spaces, and it publishes a downloadable accessibility map PDF. Rhodes also states that parking in accessible spaces on campus requires a temporary or permanent state-issued disability parking placard. Two important limits on that: the Rhodes page is written for students, and its Lynx Cart complimentary intra-campus transport is explicitly described as a service for students with mobility impairments who contact Campus Safety, so a festival attendee should not assume it is available to them. Nothing published says which Rhodes buildings or lawns the festival uses, whether practice spaces are step free, how far accessible parking is from them, or whether accessible toilets are nearby

What to bring

A full weekend of practice is easier with your own kit. What earns its place in the bag:

Four rolled cotton yoga mats in pink, yellow, blue and blackYour own mat

Rentals sell out and shared mats are thin. Bring a grippy, cushioned mat you trust for a full weekend of practice.

Recovery and comfort. A single afternoon that packs more than 15 classes into roughly five hours, so most people sample several practices back to back. The published class list runs from Power Flow, Ashtanga, Buti Yoga and HIIT x Flow at the strenuous end to Yin, Yin and Meditation and Yoga Nidra with a sound bath at the restorative end, which makes it easy to alternate effort with recovery. Classes are outdoors on the Rhodes College campus in mid September, so sun cover, a hat and plenty of water matter, and a towel or extra layer is useful for the longer held floor poses

Shop links may earn Froligo a commission; they never change the price you pay.

Marketplace and vendors

The festival advertises vendors alongside the classes and invites businesses to share knowledge, products and services at Rhodes College. Vendor names are published on the website, the festival map and social media, but the 2026 list was not on the pages captured. The sponsors page shows 2026 sponsor logos with no readable text names
