What happened to Middlelands?
After the 2017 debut, Texas Renaissance Festival declined to host Middlelands again in 2018 following resident complaints about noise and traffic. Insomniac said it would look for a new venue; in January 2020, founder Pasquale Rotella said a 2021 return was 'looking very bright,' but no further edition has taken place.
