The Moab Celtic Festival, known as Scots on the Rocks, is a three-day Celtic festival held each October at the Center Street Ballpark in downtown Moab, Utah, set against the region's red-rock country. It pairs a Highland Games heavy-athletic competition and pipe band, solo piping and Highland dance competitions with a Gathering of the Clans, a Friday-night Tattoo and Ceilidh, whisky tastings and live Celtic music, welcoming Scots, Irish, Welsh and visitors of every background
