The experience

What's special

The Naples Winter Wine Festival is widely regarded as the nation's premier charity wine auction an ultra-exclusive, invitation/inquiry-only three-day event held each January at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón, that pairs intimate vintner-and-celebrity-chef private dinners with an electrifying live auction under a chandeliered white tent. Guests bid, cheer and wave handheld noisemakers over dozens of one-of-a-kind lots rare large-format and library wines, ultra-luxury travel, chef-led dining and bespoke lifestyle experiences. Founded in 2001 and run by the Naples Children & Education Foundation, it has raised more than $336 million for children's programs in Collier County, with the 2026 live auction alone topping $30 million

What people love

For its rarefied guest list of philanthropists, collectors and executives, the appeal is the combination of world-class food and wine in intimate settings, once-in-a-lifetime auction experiences, and the sense of an electrifying, high-stakes room raising enormous sums for children's charities. The private vintner dinners and the theatrical live auction under the tent are the signature moments

Last time around (2026)

The most recent held edition, in late January 2026 at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón, once again ranked as the country's top charity wine auction, with a live auction of roughly 51 lots that raised more than $30 million for the Naples Children & Education Foundation. Attendees bid under the tent on rare collectible wines, luxury travel escapes and chef-hosted experiences, following the festival's established rhythm of private vintner dinners leading into the marquee auction day. The next edition is set for January 29-31, 2027

How do I get to Naples Winter Wine Festival?

By car

Most people drive to Naples Winter Wine Festival. The nearest major airport is RSW, and from there it is a straightforward drive to the venue. Check current road and traffic conditions before you set off, and see parking below.

By train

No direct passenger rail to the venue was found. Drive, fly in, or use a shuttle instead.

By bus & public transit
Lee County (LeeTran) + Collier Area Transit (CAT) buses~4.8 hours with transfers · $3-$8 across transfers

Public bus is technically possible but wholly impractical for this event reaching the resort from RSW involves multiple LeeTran/CAT transfers and takes the better part of a day. Included only for completeness; effectively no one attends this festival by public bus

Taxi & rideshare
Town car / limo service, rideshare, and rental car~28-30 minutes from RSW · RSW to the resort ~$40-$90 by rideshare/taxi depending on demand; town-car service is premium-priced; driving is $4-$7 in tolls/fuel

Southwest Florida International (RSW, Fort Myers) is the primary commercial gateway at ~24 miles / ~28-30 minutes' drive north of the Ritz-Carlton Tiburón. Given the festival's ultra-luxury, philanthropist clientele, pre-booked town-car and limo service is the norm; rideshare and rental cars are also straightforward from RSW. Naples Municipal (APF) is a nearby general-aviation/private-jet field ~10 miles south for guests arriving by private aircraft

Book / info →

Taxis and rideshare such as Uber and Lyft can be limited near the venue, especially late at night or in rural areas. Agree a pickup point and time in advance and keep a backup plan.

🅿 Parking

Cost Resort valet/self-park rates (event/guest arrangements apply); not publicly published.

🚙 Car hire

Compare car hire at RSW

Optional. Many attendees use town-car/limo service or are chauffeured, but a rental from RSW is a reasonable choice for guests combining the festival with wider Naples/Southwest Florida travel (beaches, golf, the Everglades). Note the event is wine-forward, so a car service is the sensible choice for the festival evenings themselves

Naples has an upscale short-term-rental market (North Naples condos, Pelican Bay/Vanderbilt Beach homes) near the Tiburón venue, though this trustee-hosted, inquiry-only festival draws a clientele that typically stays at the resort itself. Late-January is peak Naples winter season, so expect firm seasonal pricing regardless of the festival
