The experience
What's special
For a run of years, the Neshaminy Civil War Reenactment was one of the largest events of its kind in the region - a third-party listing called it the largest Civil War reenactment on the East Coast outside of Gettysburg - staged each April at Neshaminy State Park in Bensalem and coordinated by the Neshaminy Living History Association. Past editions filled the park with Union and Confederate camps, artillery demonstrations, field music, and a large-scale battle. The event's 29th edition, planned for April 2018, was cancelled, and no later edition appears in the current sources.
