The experience

What's special

The New Mexico State Fair ran eleven consecutive days, September 10 through 20, 2026, at Expo New Mexico in Albuquerque, with no 2027 dates yet published at the time of this capture. Online general admission ran fifteen dollars for an adult and ten for a senior or a child aged six to twelve, rising to twenty and fifteen dollars respectively at the gate, with children five and under always free; a separate organiser page quotes slightly different figures for the same 2026 edition, a discrepancy this record reports rather than resolves. The Fair's biggest draw sits at Tingley Coliseum, where a Chevron PRCA Rodeo and PRCA Xtreme Bulls paired with touring headliners across seven nights, and the organiser states every one of those tickets, concert or rodeo, bundles in that day's Fair admission. A thirty five dollar Mega Pass combined gate admission with unlimited carnival rides for a single day, on sale only through the Fair's first Friday but usable any day of the run

What people love

The 2026 concert-and-rodeo pairings brought Turnpike Troubadours, Ian Munsick, Everclear, Tanya Tucker and The Warning to Tingley Coliseum, while the organiser's own food guide promises fresh roasted green chile 'in almost every format' alongside a dedicated Green Chile Cheeseburger Challenge, a Green Chile Stew Cook-Off, and cultural programming at Villa Hispana and Indian Village
