The experience
What's special
The North Mississippi Renaissance Festival was launched as Tupelo's first Renaissance festival, planned as a free, family-friendly two-day community event in downtown Tupelo featuring vendors and talent from multiple states, with proceeds intended for two local charities. It is organized as a volunteer-driven community special project and promoted through Facebook rather than a dedicated website. Renaissance and fantasy costumes are welcomed but not required. As an inaugural event that was postponed close to its original date, its schedule and status remain unsettled.
