What's special
The Pikes Peak Celtic Festival is a Colorado Springs celebration of Scottish and Irish heritage held at the Western Museum of Mining and Industry, north of the city. It grew from an older local tradition and returned in 2013, fourteen years after the earlier Pikes Peak Highland Games last ran in 1999. Its program featured massed bagpipe bands from the Western United States Pipe Band Association, world champion Irish dancing, Highland dancing, athletic competitions, Celtic rock bands, and Scottish and Irish food and drink
