Robin Hood's Medieval Faire is a fantasy-based medieval faire with a Robin Hood and Nottingham theme, held on Saturdays and Sundays from mid-May through June at the Harwinton Fair Ground in Harwinton, Connecticut. In its 17th year in 2026 it expanded with an added weekend and a larger footprint, and admission (a modest $15 for adults, kids six and under free) covers a Medieval Marketplace of 80-plus vendors, up to ten stages of performances, full-contact jousting, armored knights, live birds of prey, a knight encampment, circus-style acts, and games of skill from archery to axe throwing. Rotating themed weekends, pet-friendly grounds, free parking run by local non-profits, and 18+ After Hours events round out a day out billed for history buffs, cosplayers, and families alike. It is the sister show to the Connecticut Renaissance Faire.
What people love
Attendees describe a small but fun and welcoming faire with a good atmosphere, friendly people, and strong value at $15 admission, singling out the joust, the field with good seating, and food with plenty of options. Costumes are encouraged but not required, and because the faire is fantasy-based any genre of costume is welcome; plenty of guests come in ordinary clothes, and there is a Royal Adult Costume Contest for those who want to dress up. Family-friendly costuming is the only guideline

Any bladed weapons must be peace-tied, weapons that cannot be easily peace-tied are approved by Gate Security case by case, and replica weapons resembling modern firearms are not permitted

Themed weekends rotate shows and merchants, and some After Hours events (18+) are included with same-day admission
