By car
Most people drive to Salmonfest. The nearest major airport is ENA, and from there it is a straightforward drive to the venue. Check current road and traffic conditions before you set off, and see parking below.
By train
No direct passenger rail to the venue was found. Drive, fly in, or use a shuttle instead.
By bus & public transit
Salmonfest's own official 'Getting There' page names AK Bus Company as running daily shuttle service from Anchorage down the peninsula, with a note to call ahead (907-299-6806) to confirm the Ninilchik drop-off location the most direct non-driving option covering the full Anchorage-to-Ninilchik leg without needing to fly into ENA/HOM at all

ENA has no fixed-route public transit onward, so a rental car or hired ride covers the roughly 46-mile / ~1-hour drive south on the Sterling Highway to the Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds in Ninilchik (Mile 136). No official Salmonfest or ENA source confirms Uber/Lyft actually operate that far south into Ninilchik itself treat rideshare as reliable for the ENA-to-Kenai/Soldotna leg only, with a rental car as the more dependable option for the final Ninilchik stretch
