What's special
Sand In My Boots is a country-anchored, genre-blending beach festival curated by Morgan Wallen, held on the public beach at Gulf Shores, Alabama, the former Hangout Festival site. Its draw is the setting as much as the music: three days of country, southern rap and pop headliners played right where the sand meets the Gulf, with beach access, resort proximity and a marquee Wallen-built lineup
Last time around (2025)
The inaugural edition ran May 16-18, 2025 on the Gulf Shores beach and sold out in roughly 90 minutes when tickets went on sale the previous October, drawing about 40,000 fans. Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn and HARDY joined a Wallen-curated bill, and Wallen closed the weekend by debuting songs from his then-new album 'I'm the Problem.' Local officials and coverage framed the debut as a smoothly run success with a large economic boost to the area; a public-input process about the beach's festival future followed

The festival's own info page states the venue is 'easily accessible via pedestrian walkways along Beach Blvd. and Hwy 59,' and the shuttle runs continuously Friday-Sunday from stops across Gulf Shores/Orange Beach (Pelican Place, Hampton Inn, Waves Market, The Gulf, and hotel/condo stops), with 'ride any line, anytime' passes starting at $70 (per FAQ and secondary vacation-rental guides); passes bought via the official Passes page, not a named third-party prepay app
