New for the 2026 season per official/press coverage: a special late-night Rail Runner train runs after Friday/Saturday performances, giving Albuquerque-area (and all-stops-between) attendees round-trip train service to the Santa Fe Depot plus a connecting shuttle to/from the opera. genuinely useful for anyone flying into Albuquerque Sunport (ABQ) instead of the smaller SAF, which has far fewer scheduled flights

On site parking available. Cost Free. General spaces are first-come-first-served; a limited number of reserved spots exist for donors. Lots open 3 hours before each performance. A well-documented tailgating culture is built around this free parking ticket holders arrive hours early to set up table/chair picnics adjacent to their cars (no open flame of any kind permitted, including charcoal/gas/propane/candles; all tailgaters must hold a ticket for that night's performance). A free on-site shuttle also runs between the lower parking lot and the theater entrance. The venue recommends arriving at least 30 minutes before curtain to avoid congestion
