Scotfest is Oklahoma's flagship Scottish and Irish festival, staged over three days each September at Broken Arrow Events Park near Tulsa and run entirely by volunteers of the Scottish Club of Tulsa. The 2026 weekend, September 18 to 20, is billed as the festival's final celebration after 46 years. It packs in Highland heavy athletics with caber toss and hammer throw, massed pipe bands and a national pipe band championship, Highland dance, more than 40 clan tents with genealogy help, whisky tastings, armored medieval combat, and Celtic rock across three stages

The games run Highland heavy athletics where elite athletes compete in caber toss, stone put, hammer throw and more across an all-day Saturday competition, with two world championships, championship prize money, and Masters divisions for men and women

The weekend features massed pipe bands and a national pipe band championship, solo piping and drumming competitions, and Highland dance competition with the Fling and Sword Dance, joined by the Tulsa Metro Pipe Band and the City of Tulsa Pipes and Drums
Clans & genealogy
Visitors can trace their Scottish roots at more than 40 clan tents with genealogy research, alongside Military Row, living history displays and a Sunday Kirkin' o' the Tartans service

Beyond the games, Scotfest After Dark brings Celtic rock across three music stages until 11pm, with a craft beer garden, premium whisky tastings for guests 21 and over, comedians, food vendors, a kids area with miniature Highland games, and full-contact armored medieval combat
