Unison Festival

Unison is a five-day camping gathering held at Tico Time River Resort on the Animas River near Aztec, New Mexico, roughly 20 miles south of Durango, Colorado. Alongside electronic and world music spread across stages including a Main Stage, Pavilion Dance Temple, Salamander Stage, Beach Stage, Sacred Fire and Xanadu Yoga Shala, the festival centers on workshops, yoga, ecstatic dance, sound healing and themed villages, guided by a '7 Key Values' ethos of connection, expression and conscious community. The Costa Rican-themed river resort venue offers swimming and shaded cottonwoods, and the event is family-friendly and consciousness-oriented, encouraging attendees to show up 'in clarity and sobriety.'

Attendees praise the beautiful riverside setting on the Animas near Durango and the small, welcoming, community-focused atmosphere over big-name star power. Many say the workshops and fellow festival-goers, rather than the headliners, are what make it memorable, and describe it as a great festival to attend solo among a wholesome crowd. The most recent held edition took place in September 2025 at Tico Time River Resort near Aztec, New Mexico. Attendees again highlighted the riverside location and community feel, and the festival published a 2025 photo gallery and 'reminiscence' recap and thanked its 2025 sponsors
