Wild Soul Festival comes to Olympic Valley, CA, Expected July. Froligo tracks current ticket prices, attendee feedback and travel details.
What it stands for
The festival's stated purpose is to help attendees find their wild. It defines a wild soul, in its own words, as someone free-spirited, deeply authentic and deeply in touch with their true nature, and it framed 2026 around the theme Wild Within. Founder Kellee Rich told KOLO she dropped the word yoga from the name because the event is so much more than a yoga festival, and the organiser now describes it as Lake Tahoe's premier wellness, music and adventure festival. It leans local: over 40 Tahoe-area yoga and movement facilitators, healers, guides, artists and entrepreneurs alongside nationally known teachers and musicians, sponsorship and venues drawn almost entirely from Olympic Valley and North Tahoe businesses, and a free Vendor Village positioned as support for local makers. The weekend opened and closed with a Washoe Tribe land acknowledgement read by the founder. Sessions carry the festival's own metaphysical vocabulary, with cacao ceremony, Reiki, chakra and subtle energy work, deity archetypes and shamanic ritual all described in the organiser's terms
The experience
What's special
A three-day mountain gathering in the Village at Palisades Tahoe that has grown out of a yoga festival into something broader. The 2026 tagline was Adventure All Day, Dance All Night, and the published schedule bears that out: 106 entries across four days, of which 24 were yoga and movement classes, 11 were sound and breathwork, 13 were talks and workshops, 6 were ceremonies and circles, 17 were outdoor excursions including a Via Ferrata climb and e-bike rides, 11 were music sets and the remainder were market, registration and nightlife. A single pass buys the whole daytime programme plus the evening concerts, and attendees build their own schedule in the Sched app after buying. Yoga runs from 8am stand-up paddleboard classes on Lake Tahoe through Bhakti flow, Yin, Kundalini, aerial and acro to Yoga X DJ classes with DJ Drez and Marti Nikko. The evening turns the Events Plaza into a concert stage with KR3TURE, Dimond Saints, HABITAAT and EM3RSON, then moves to after parties in the village bars. A large slice of the weekend, the Vendor Village, the Thursday party, both after parties and the Sunday community concert, is free and open to everyone
Last time around
The July 10 to 12, 2026 edition was the third annual and the first under the Wild Soul name, following two years as the Wild Lotus Yoga Festival. It opened with a free Thursday pre-registration party at the Auld Dubliner with Funksalot, ran a full Friday to Sunday programme of 106 published entries across roughly twenty venues in and around the Village, and closed on Sunday afternoon with founder Kellee Rich's remarks and land acknowledgement followed by a free community concert with gBrownSound and Funksalive

The practice
all levels, with demanding options. The festival describes the weekend as having something for everyone whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to the practice, and most classes are billed all levels with no experience or partner necessary. The demand sits at the edges rather than in the studio: a 5 mile Shirley Canyon hike with moderate elevation gain and granite scrambling, a four hour Via Ferrata climb, e-bike rides, SUP yoga on open water, and aerial silks and acro work. Animal Flow was billed as open to all bodies with healthy wrists and knees. The whole site sits at Sierra Nevada elevation, and the organiser warns of drastic temperature fluctuations
Flowing sequences that link breath to movement. Expect to move and sweat.
Long, passive floor holds that reach deep tissue. Slow, quiet and meditative.
Fully supported poses with props, built for rest and recovery rather than effort.
Guided lying-down meditation on the edge of sleep. No movement at all.

Breathwork, chanting and repeated movements aimed at energy and focus more than a workout.

Schedule
Programme from the July 2026 edition, the most recent held; no 2027 programme is published. Scope note: of the 106 entries on the festival's own 2026 Sched schedule, 18 were tagged Yoga & Movement and 6 Yoga X DJ Class, so mat-based yoga and movement was about a quarter of the published programme. The 72 entries listed under sessions here keep the festival's own track tag in the format field: Yoga & Movement 18, Yoga X DJ Class 6, Sound & Breathwork 11, Workshops & Talks 13, Ceremony & Circles 6, Wellness & Healing 1, and 17 Adventure & Outdoors or Rock Climbing excursions, whose titles are also collected under on_the_land. The three all-day Healer Hive standing offerings are described under vendors instead. Excluded from this block entirely are the 11 Music entries, which are in music_lineup, and the 20 Community & Nightlife entries covering registration, the Vendor Village, the Night Market, the sponsor lounge and the after parties, which are described in vendors, food_program and experience

Teachers & presenters
Roster from the July 10 to 12, 2026 edition, the most recent held; no 2027 roster is published. Names and studio credits are taken from the festival's own Sched presenter directory, cross-checked against the presenter list on wildsoulfestival.com, which spells several names differently. The roster mixes yoga and movement teachers with speakers, healers, outdoor guides, DJs and concert acts, which is how the festival itself bills it
Plus the rest of the 55+ teachers, practitioners and speakers across the weekend.
The Market: A Market for Wild Makers & Creatives (Vendor Village), plus the Night Market and the Healer Hive Sanctuary
The Vendor Village ran free and open to all ages throughout the Village at Palisades Tahoe, Friday to Sunday 9am to 5pm, billed as artisans, makers, healers, creators and small businesses from the Tahoe Basin, Reno, Sacramento and beyond, with handcrafted goods, art, jewellery, wellness products, apparel and gifts, plus free live music each afternoon. The Night Market ran Friday and Saturday from 2pm to 10pm. The Sanctuary by Healer Hive offered micro-healing sessions with 28 or more healers covering massage, reiki, tarot and energy work, paid directly to the practitioner. Vendor applications opened March 1 and closed May 30, 2026.
